Thank you for attending AWN meeting on 27/06/20 in Enfiled, it was a pleasure meeting all of you.

We were, also, honoured with the presence of Petrit Kuçana, the Chief Executive of the biggest and most read Albanian Newspaper in the UK ‘The Albanian’.

What we discussed in the meeting:

• Introductions
• AWN aims and objectives
• What we want out of AWN
• Action plan for the coming months
• AWN partnering and inter-working (already 9 established partners)

What we agreed:

• Meeting every two months
• The agenda for the next meeting (see ppt slides in the members area on www.albwnet.org)
• A brief discussion of the coming events

Action Points

• Lida Rragami to set mentoring groups via the website www.albwnet.org. Please visit the page to register your interest – by 01/07/2010
• Lida Rragami to arrange the venue (London) for the next meeting (1 of October 2010)
• Lida Rragami to run the training course ‘How to be Successful’ on the next meeting (1 of October 2010)
• Claire Fletcher to present/talk in one of the coming event – Venue: London; Title and time TBC
• Pranvera Smith to talk to one of the Women networks in Albania for partnering – by End of August
• Lida Rragami to arrange Christmas and New Year party – venue London, time: ~middle of December. More details to be confirmed nearer the time.
